After an afternoon tour of forty plus rooms of a three hundred plus room palace we spent the day exploring the sprawling palace gardens. Later we’d return to the city center to enjoy an evening walking around.
To kick off our first day in Austria we set out on a walking tour of Vienna along with experiencing the choir at Sunday Mass and getting a glimpse of Vienna’s famous operas.
Our thirteen day trip across four towns in Spain was filled with walking, sights and plenty of food. Our video montage sums it up.
After an exhausting two days, we took a slower pace and visited the Picasso Museum before enjoying Barcelona’s beaches.
Our morning would start with a tour of Park Guell a housing community designed by Antoni Gaudí. In the afternoon we’d tour his other masterpiece, Sagrada Familia.
We hit the street with the guide book in hand to do our own walking tour of the historic neighborhoods in Barcelona.
It was time to say goodbye to San Sebastian and start the last leg of the trek back to Barcelona where we’d meet up with Joe and Angel.
After a great evening touring pintxos spots we returned to the old town to visit a few more recommendations before starting a scenic hike of Monte Urgull.
